The Chinese name for ALPHA CITY literally means city consisting of "Li". In ancient China, five families living next to each other is named as a neighbor. Five neighbors forms a "Li".

"Li" is the primary form of urban residents living together, such as "San De Li", "Ji shan li" and "Heng feng li". People live, grow up, raise and communicate here, which constitutes the peaceful outlook of the relative society of the pre-internet era. It still remains in the old city in the form of a museum of life for people to remember the peaceful and ease life rhythm in the past.

"City" originated from socialized production. As a multifunctional machine, it integrates social resources to operate together. People have faded the kinship attributes such as "father" and "near-door grandmother". They become various functional components on the social production line and engaged in research and development and production output behavior; Efficiency and goals integrate strangers into individual team units.

The project base is located in Shanghai Songjiang International Ecological Business District, north of Meijiatun Road, south of Waibu Street, east of Rongmei Road, and it functions as an important site of the G60 science and technology innovation corridor.The project site is a natural hub connecting Songjiang University Town, Songjiang Enterprise and Songjiang Community. It is an ideal space for the ALPHA CITY. In terms of operational logic, the Japanese Ribo Group will break through the management ideas of traditional real estate business projects, and boldly explore and put in place the operational logic of the city within the city to shape the social form that people in creative and cultural industry should have.
